The Dilemma and Countermeasure of the Evaluation of Education Practice in Normal Colleges
Educational internships are the primary means for pre-service teachers to acquire practical knowledge.The evaluation of educational internships plays an essential role in judging the quality and effectiveness of pre-service teacher education in China.However,there are several issues in the evaluation process,including the lack of operational evaluation criteria,neglect of the human element,homogenization of evaluation subjects,incomplete evaluation content,and a uniform evaluation approach.To address these challenges,measures such as establishing human-centric evaluation criteria,creating a multi-party participation system for internship evaluation,improving the comprehensive evaluation content focusing on both moral character and competence,and implementing both formative and summative evaluation methods can be implemented.These actions aim to enhance the current evaluation system for educational internships and promote the development of high-quality teacher training programs.
