lnfluencing Factors and Promotion Path of Rural Teaching Willingness of Master of Education Students
The revitalization of rural education relies on a high-quality teaching workforce,making it crucial to attract Master of Education students to teach in rural areas.This qualitative study,based on the grounded theory paradigm,explores the factors influencing the willingness of Master of Education students to teach in rural areas.Through analysis of interview data,five aspects were identified:cognitive drive,personal development,vocational characteristics,significant others,and social support.To enhance the willingness of Master of Education students to engage in rural teaching,efforts should focus on improving funding mechanisms and facilities for rural education,optimizing the social support system for rural teachers,increasing the professional appeal of rural teaching,fostering a sense of local identity to cultivate more locally rooted outstanding teachers,and providing career guidance education to instill a sense of educational mission among Master of Education students for rural education.
