Impacting of Road Networks on Beautiful Villages Construction Effectiveness
In order to improve the construction level of beautiful villages effectively promoted by road networks construction, the inherent laws of road networks impacting on the effectiveness of beautiful villages construction were systematically studied.Firstly, the theoretical mechanism of the influence of road networks on the beautiful villages construction were analyzed from three dimensions including living environments, infrastructures and economic conditions.Furthermore, the influential factors sys-tem was established under this mechanism framework, and the calculation methods of each influential factor were designed by integrating road network data and other related geographic data. Finally, the GWR(Geographical Weighted Regression)model was used to empirically analyze the actual contribu-tion of each influential factor to beautiful villages construction in Xi'an countryside, and some corre-sponding countermeasures and suggestions were put forward according to the spatial differentiation of the case. The research shows that the effecting process of road network on the construction of beautiful villages are influenced by many factors due to the inherent complexity of rural social and economic systems. In detail, the difficulty of hydro-power layout, the disturbance to ecological environment around the villages and the deficiency of public services are negatively correlated with the effective-ness of beautiful villages construction;the accessibility to outside production and living locations, the suitability of rural characteristic businesses and the developing activity of agriculture industry are posi-tively correlated with it;because of the variations of localities at the township and street scale, the 6 factors above will have different effecting intensity in different places;in addition,it is considered an innovative direction to fill the common data gap by mining and integrating all kinds of information da-ta related to road network with the help of GIS(Geographic Information System)in rural transporta-tion research.
