Performance Evaluation of the Large Monkey Board Drilling Automation Equipment
The monkey board system is an indispensable part of the automation equipment of drilling rig.Its actual working status and service life are affected by wind direction,wind speed,manipulator position and other factors.In order to ensure the safe and stable operation of the monkey board system,the design load is determined according to API standards,and ANSYS Workbench is used to study the mechanics and performance of the monkey board system under different working conditions.The results show that under all the conditions considered,the maximum displacement of the monkey board system occurs on the front end of the monkey path,and the position with greater stress mainly occurs at the connecting ear of the two-storey platform and the vertical bar of the two-storey platform frame near the monkey path.Among them,under the wind speed of 16.5 m/s,the maximum stress condition of the two-storey platform is BW1aX,and its value is 238.91 MPa,which is 1.4 times that of NYX.Therefore,it is necessary to strengthen the connecting lug and the frame vertical rod in the design of the monkey board system to ensure its safe and stable operation,and provide theoretical guidance for the development of the monkey board system.
