Research on Modal Test and Vibration Suppression of Railway Roller Rig
In this paper, testing and analysis of the abnormal vibration problem of the railway roller rig for locomotive is conducted, including vibration modal testing and research on vibration suppression measures.Through the analysis of the modal test results of the test rig under non-load and load conditions and the short-time Fourier transform analysis, the time-frequency spectrum and main vibration modes of the test rig are obtained.Through the finite element modelling of the test rig,the method of adding longitudinal reinforcement rods to increase the rig's stiffness is proposed, which raises the modal frequency and thus achieves the goal of vibration suppression. The test results reveal a coupling phenomenon between the wheel rotaion frequency and the test rig's nodding head mode or shaking head mode, leading to the amplification of vibration, which is the main cause of abnormal vibration. To address the abnormal vibration problem,on the basis of the actual field measurement data,it is concluded that adding a longitudinal connecting rod could reduce the vibration.
