Design of Underground Energy Recovery System for Water Supply and Drainage Based on Pumped Storage
In view of the problems of high energy consumption of equipment and the waste of water potential energy in water supply during underground water supply and drainage,a set of dual-purpose energy recovery system for underground water supply and drainage based on pumped storage technology is designed through the mutual conversion of water potential energy and electrical energy. The mechanical part of the device is composed of water supply power unit, power generation energy recovery unit, drainage booster unit and power output control unit, and the control part consists of liquid level detection, differential lock control, electromagnetic clutch control, and circuit design control part. When the water is supplied to the underground, the water supply power unit in the system converts the hydraulic potential energy into the energy and stores it in the battery pack for energy storage.During the off-peak demand hours for electricity, the electrical energy is used to pump the water from the water silo at the bottom of the well to the intermediate roadway for pumped energy storage. At the same time, the electrical energy in the battery pack can also be used for other power supply equipment underground.During the peak demand hours for electricity, the water is released from the reservoir and converted into electrical energy to support the energy supply of the underground drainage pump,so as to reduce the energy consumption of the drainage pump and achieve the goal of energy saving.
