碲对40Cr13塑料模具钢加工性能的影响

对硬度为41,38,36 HRC的无碲低硫(硫质量分数为0。003%)40Cr13钢,41 HRC的含碲中硫(碲质量分数为0。003%,硫质量分数为0。022%)40Cr13钢以及硬度为33,41 HRC的无碲高硫(硫质量分数为0。070%)40Cr13钢进行了铣削、钻削及抛光试验,分析了夹杂物的形貌与显微硬度,研究了碲对试验钢加工性能的影响。结果表明:相比无碲低硫钢,含碲中硫钢中夹杂物主要为MnS,尺寸增大,长宽比几乎未变,多为椭球状;无碲高硫钢中夹杂物主要为MnS,数量、尺寸、长宽比均增加,为长条状;碲在硫化物中的固溶使得含碲中硫钢中硫化物的显微硬度增大;相同硬度下,含碲中硫钢的铣削力、钻削力、铣削后的表面粗糙度相比无碲低硫钢更小,加工性能更好,但抛光后表面粗糙度更大,抛光性能略差。
Effect of Tellurium on Processing Performance of 40Cr13 Plastic Mold Steel
Milling,drilling and polishing tests were carried out on tellurium-free low-sulfur(0.003wt%sulfur)40Cr13 steel with hardness of 41,38,36 HRC,tellurium-containing medium-sulfur(0.003wt%tellurium,0.022wt%sulfur)40Cr13 steel with hardness of 41 HRC,and tellurium-free high-sulfur(0.070wt%sulfur)40Cr13 steel with hardness of 33,41 HRC.The morphology and microhardness of inclusions were analyzed,and the effect of tellurium on the processing performance of the test steel was studied.The results show that compared with those in tellurium-free low-sulfur steel,the inclusions in tellurium-containing medium-sulfur steel were mainly MnS,whose size increased and aspect ratio was almost unchanged,and the inclusions were mostly ellipsoids.The inclusions in the tellurium-free high-sulfur steel were mainly MnS,and whose number,size and aspect ratio all increased,and the inclusions were long strip.The microhardness of sulfides in tellurium-containing medium-sulfur steel increased because of the solid solution of tellurium in sulfides.When the hardness was constant,the milling force,drilling force and surface roughness after milling of tellurium-containing medium-sulfur steel were smaller than those of the tellurium-free low-sulfur,and the cutting performance was better.The surface roughness after polishing of the tellurium-containing medium-sulfur steel was bigger than that of the tellurium-containing medium-sulfur steel,and the polishing performance was slightly worse.
