Synthesis of Soybean Sucrose Polyester Under Microwave Irradiation and Phase Transfer Catalyst
Soybean sucrose polyester was synthesized from ethyl ester of soybean oil and sucrose under microwave irradiation catalyzed by phase-transfer catalyst-cetyltrim ethylammonium bromide in two-step method. The factors of catalyst amount, microwave power, reaction time on the soybean sucrose polyester yield were optimized with the Box-behnken mode of response surface methodology. The optimum reaction conditions were determined as follows:catalyst molar fraction 2.3%,microwave power 433 W reaction time 33 min. The product yield reached 88.81% and the esterification degree reached 6.9 in this condition.
