Space-time Solidification and Mirco-credential Luxuriance-On the Improving of"Administrative Measures for Authorization and Award of Bachelor's Degree"
The"Administrative Measures for Authorization and Award of Bachelor's Degree"issued in 2019 is a key policy document in current undergraduate education.The text analysis shows that this educational policy solidifies time and space,which at the time vision neglects the laws of talent growth,and at the spatial vi-sion ignores the history and current discipline distribution of China higher education.It has not effectively achieved the goals of"promoting the cultivation of inter-disciplinary talents by classification"or"promoting the sharing of high-quality educational resources",thus causing certain obstacles to the growth of inter-disciplinary talents.The internal logic of this document conflicts.This document also conflicts with the provisions of"The Regulations on the Management of Students in Higher Education Institutions".The appropriation of the concept of micro-credential has established its effectiveness in the context of two policy factors:the"Four New"and the"Measures",and its flourishing presents the essence of"major"and will promote the growth of inter-disci-plinary talents.The research suggests a moderate revision of the document,and improving relevant policies in the education and management of minor,micro-credential,double-major programs,joint bachelor's degree pro-grams on the basis of national conditions to achieve the space-time flexibility.
