The Impact of Surface Emotional Performance by Primary and Secondary School Teachers on Job Engagement——The Moderating Effect of Psychological Detachment
Improving teachers'job engagement is an important content of the high-quality development of basic education.By using the emotional labor scale,the job engagement scale,and the psychological detachment scale,this study investigated 12,660 teachers from Shanxi provinces,Jilin provinces,Jiangsu provinces and so on and analyzed the influence mechanism of surface emotional performance on teachers'job engagement,with psychological detachment as moderating effect.The results show that the surface emotional performance has a significant negative impact on teachers'job engagement,and psychological detachment plays a moderating role in the effect of surface emotional performance on teachers'job engagement.To promote the high-quality devel-opment of basic education,it is necessary to focus on enhancing the work engagement of teachers,promoting the development of emotional intelligence,and improving the level of psychological liberation.
