Based on the background of the"gradual introduction of Western knowledge into the East"in modern times and the intense exchange of old and new educational ideas,this study analyzes the generation path of Chinese original educational concepts and theories,providing a disciplinary discourse basis for the construction of an autonomous knowledge system of pedagogy with Chinese characteristics.Through the his-torical clues of the emergence and evolution of the concept of"normal education",this paper explains the evolution of the connotation of"normal education",examines the internal logic of China's educational ideol-ogy system from tradition to modernity,shows the reflection and innovation of China's normal education in the process of learning from the Western education system,so as to provide a basis for the construction of a normal education system that is suitable for both local culture and international development frontier,endow-ing the connotation of"normal education"with new meaning in the context of historical exchanges and tran-sition.
