The Organizing Features,Underlying Implications and Educational Perspectives of Scientific Cultural Content in the State-compiled Chinese Textbooks
Science education is an important support for the construction of education power,science and technology power and talent power.As a useful supplement and an important extension of science educa-tion,the subject of Chinese is significant for the completion of the science education system.The state-compiled Chinese textbooks include a rich and comprehensive range of scientific and cultural content,show-ing the distinctive characteristics of comprehensiveness,advancement and openness in form,organically inte-grated into scientific content with overall planning and natural infiltration;the content reveals the value impli-cations of science as a cultural process,local knowledge and a way of knowing,constructing a pluralistic in-terpretation of science.Based on the unique strengths and values of the subject of Chinese,the scientific cul-tural contents in the state-compiled Chinese textbooks play an important role in three aspects:unveiling the humanistic feelings of science education,helping to promote the system of science education,and responding to the call of the times of science education,providing a new perspective for science education.
