Research on the Spatio-temporal Differences in Resource Allocation Efficiency in Higher Vocational Education and Their Impact on Economic Growth
Higher vocational education is an important type of education for cultivating high-quality tech-nical and skilled talents,and has played an important role in China's process of building a strong human re-sources country and a skilled society.To clarify the spatio-temporal differences in the efficiency of resource allocation in higher vocational education in China and their impact on economic growth,this study selected panel data on the input and output of higher vocational education from 2015 to 2022,and used data envelop-ment analysis to calculate the comprehensive efficiency,pure technical efficiency,scale efficiency,and scale return of resource allocation in higher vocational education.The spatio-temporal differences were comprehen-sively analyzed.Meanwhile,a fixed effects model was used to conduct regression analysis on the relationship between resource allocation efficiency in higher vocational education and economic growth,and it was found that resource allocation efficiency has a significant positive impact on economic growth.In order to further improve the efficiency of resource allocation in higher vocational education and play its driving role in China's economic growth,necessary tasks are:increasing the"increments",so as to further expand the chan-nels and forms of investment in vocational education resources;optimizing the stock,so as to further improve the efficiency of resource allocation,and achieve the goal of"using good steel on the cutting edge"of voca-tional education resources;expanding output,so as to further deepen the integration of industry and educa-tion,and enhance the social service contribution of higher vocational education.
