Research on the ECD Model Design of Data Literacy Evaluation for Undergraduate Students
With the advancement of Digital China and the national big data strategy,contemporary under-graduate students will become a core competency in"making good use of data".To find out students'data literacy level,an evaluation tool for undergraduate students was designed based on the ECD model.A combi-nation of questionnaires,knowledge tests,and complex situational tasks was used to evaluate undergraduate students.Pretests were conducted,and the effectiveness of the task model was tested based on the Rasch model.The reliability,discrimination,fit,and unidimensionality of the evaluation questions were analyzed.Fi-nally,the evaluation tool was tested and optimized.The results show that the developed undergraduate data literacy assessment tool is scientific,reasonable,reliable,and has strong operability,which can provide sup-port for the objective evaluation of undergraduate students'data literacy.
