Empirical Analysis and Improvement Strategies for Quality Evaluation of Industry-education Integra-tion in Higher Vocational Colleges
Building a quality evaluation system for the industry-education integration is an important mechanism for achieving high-quality development within higher vocational colleges. This study constructed a quality evaluation index system and established weights for this integration, along with a weighted model for calculating the index, using policy text analysis, literature review,Delphi method(DM),and Analytic Hier-archy Process(AHP).This system comprises 9 primary indicators,34 secondary indicators, and 86 tertiary in-dicators,related to school governance, training system, majors and courses, conditions and funding, scientific research, social services, teacher development, student development, and social evaluation.Empirical evalua-tion and analysis of 35 sample vocational colleges show that:the overall quality of the industry-education in-tegration in the current sample colleges is at a medium level, with an average quality index of 4.02,as well as a problem of quality imbalance;the quality index of the tertiary indicators is at a relatively low level in ten aspects, including teachers'international exchange and cooperation ability, cooperative development,sci-entific achievements, technological innovation platforms, achievement transformation, industrial technology platforms, cooperative education, governance system, horizontal scientific research projects, and teaching inno-vation teams.Strategies and measures have been proposed to effectively improve the integration quality,in-cluding school governance structure, talent training system, scientific research services, and the development of teachers and students.
