Realization of Science-education Integration in Higher Education:Challenges and Solutions
In the new era,the core of cultivating innovative talents in colleges and universities lies in deepening the integration of science and education.This integration is beneficial for optimizing and reorganiz-ing research and teaching,transforming research content into teaching materials and enhancing students're-search capabilities.Current challenges include a management logic that favors research over teaching,a wid-ening gaps between research and teaching,the utilitarian nature of performance evaluation and university rankings,and deficiencies in university management and operation.To address these issues,it is essential to establish a policy support framework for science-education integration,develop mechanisms specifically tar-geting this integration,strengthen the leading role of university teachers in the integration process,and con-tinuously explore new models of integration,so as to promote a comprehensive science-education integration in colleges and universities.
