Exploring the improvement measures of saline-alkali land based on orthogonal experiments in Xingqing District,Yinchuan City,Ningxia Province
[Objective]In order to explore the effects of different soil improvement measures and local irrigation water sources on the physicochemical properties and crop length indexes of saline-alkali soil,[Method]This study was carried out by barrel cultivation with maize as the test crop. For the high degree of land salinization, three kinds of commercial organic fertilizer, soil conditioner and microbial fertilizer(salinity)were selected among the traditional and new soil amendments. In view of the problems of poor permeability and easy compaction of local soil, three soil fluffy methods were adopted:sand mixing, crushing straw returning and fermented organic matter returning to the field.Combined with the local irrigation habits, three irrigation water sources were used:Yellow River water, well water and ditch water. In this study, the accumulation of plant height, stem diameter and dry matter during the vegetative growth period(seedling stage-large flare stage)of maize and the changes of salt content in saline-alkali soil from before sowing to after harvest were observed, and the optimal combination suitable for salt suppression and yield increase was obtained.[Result]The results showed that different treatments had effects on maize growth indexes and soil salt inhibition degree, and the effects of each treatment on dry matter accumulation and soil total salinity changes during the vegetative growth period of maize were as follows:soil amendment type>soil fluffing method>irrigation water source.[Conclusion]Finally,it is concluded that the rational allocation of commercial organic fertilizer and biological fertilizer can not only ensure crop yield, but also fertilize soil fertility and effectively inhibit salt surface aggregation, and in the case of low frequency of local canal water and abundant ditch water storage, excess ditch water or well water can be used for corn supplemental irrigation in the interval between two water inflows, which can achieve water-saving benefits while ensuring crop yield, which provides a reference for exploring the integrated mode of saline-alkali land management and realizing the sustainable and efficient use of saline-alkali land.
