An Analytical Overview of the Evolution and Future Trajectories of Doctoral Dissertation Topics in the History of the Communist Party of China(2013-2022)
Over the past decade,scholarly endeavors in the form of doctoral dissertations on the histo-ry of the Communist Party of China(CPC)have yielded substantial contributions.Through the analy-sis of the topic selection types of 344 doctoral dissertations of Party history in eight doctoral programs of Party history in China from 2013 to 2022,it is found that in recent years,the Party history academ-ic circles in China have devoted themselves to research,the research scope of Party history doctoral dissertations is broad,the theme is rich,and the hot spots are bright,and each degree site has fully considered its own disciplinary expertise and advantages,and cultivated the Party history academic talents with their own characteristics.While getting excellent grades,the development of the disci-pline of Party history is also faced with the following practical problems:the problem consciousness to be strengthened,lengthy and repetitive paper titles,color-diluted historiography,the major achieve-ments and characteristic achievements'missing,etc.Party history research should be based on his-torical research,centered on political history,strengthen problem awareness,and produce excellent research results with literary theory,textual evidence and literary talent,so as to better promote the healthy development of the discipline of Party history.
