The Study on Immersive Virtual Reality Multimodal Interaction Model
With the advancement of virtual reality technology, traditional input modalities such as keyboards and mice are increasingly inadequate to meet interactive demands.Addressing the research focus on achieving natural interaction in virtual reality tasks, the analysis of the strengths and weaknesses of various single-modal interaction methods is conducted. From a neuroscientific and kinematics perspective, gaze shift is categorized.Subsequently, considering the stability of the head, the efficiency of eye movements, and the characteristics of head-eye coordina-tion(head movement),a head-eye coordination interaction model is designed to reduce Midas touch issues through multimodal interaction and balance interaction loads. Finally, for target selection tasks in virtual reality, modal com-parative experiments are conducted.Experimental results demonstrate that compared to traditional interaction moda-lities,the proposed interaction model exhibits higher accuracy, faster time efficiency, and increased naturalness.
