Feasibility Study on Wheel Design Centered Around Rim Ventilation Rate
A feasibility analysis method based on parametric design has been proposed, with the objective of wheel rim ventilation rate during the two-dimensional design phase.By analyzing the principles of wheel rim ventilation rate verification, the parameter relations between the verification variable elements are obtained and transformed into a parametric design program.Modular programming is carried out using a parametric design software platform.Using this design feasibility analysis method and the wheel evaluation module,it is possible to intervene in the development of wheel design at an early stage. This effectively improves the accuracy of wheel design during the two-dimensional design phase, reduces the need for data optimization work during the later three-dimensional wheel modeling phase, and significantly saves development costs and time. The parametric design method supports the development of modeling design and also provides inspiration and reference for the feasibility development of other related automotive components.
