Detection Method of Power Cable Insulation Defect Based on Chaotic Time Domain Reflectometry
In order to improve the detection accuracy of power cable insulation defects,a detection method of power cable insulation defects based on chaotic time domain reflectometry is proposed. The noise signal is decomposed in different modal components by variational modal decomposition method, the power cable signal is decomposed in high and low frequency components by adaptive wavelet packet decomposi-tion,and the component without local signal is filtered by threshold method to complete signal denoising. After the signal is denoised, the power cable signal is divided into reference signal and detection signal by chaotic time-domain reflectometry. The sampling processing is completed according to the signal and the reflection signal of the fault point of the power cable insulation position. The location of the defect is ob-tained from the time delay and amplitude information of the correlation peak, and the fault type is judged so as to realize the detection of power cable insulation defects. The experimental results show that the pro-posed method can comprehensively improve the accuracy of the detection results.
