Excitation Backstepping Control Method of Turbogenerator Based on Wide Area Measurement
Due to the lack of real-time operation data of the generator in the process of excitation backstepping control of turbogenerator,the effect of motor excitation backstepping control is poor.There-fore,a method of excitation backstepping control of turbogenerator based on wide area measurement is pro-posed.Through the synchronous phasor measurement unit of the wide area measurement system,the real-time operation data such as power angle and current of the steam turbine generator are collected,and the collected operation data are changed into the form of per unit value.According to this form,the mathemati-cal model of the excitation control of the steam turbine generator is established,and the excitation back-stepping control variables are obtained.Combined with the backstepping method,the excitation backstep-ping controller of the steam turbine generator is designed,and the disturbance in the controller is estimated through the radial basis function neural network to complete controller disturbance compensation.The ex-perimental results show that this method can accurately collect the operating parameters of the turbogener-ator,effectively reverse step control the excitation of the turbogenerator,and quickly restore the power an-gle and rotor angular velocity of the turbogenerator to a stable state,with better reverse step control effect;after applying this method,the stability of power grid operation can be ensured and the amount of power grid cut-off after fault can be reduced.
