Analysis of Random Vibration Response of Shafting Transmission Considering Structural Nonlinearity
In order to study the influence of nonlinear factors such as fit state and clearance on the ran-dom vibration response of the shaft structure, its random vibration response is simulated in the time do-main based on explicit dynamics analysis. The results show that the vibration transmission between parts in the interference fit state is smoother than that in the critical state, which results in a smaller response amplitude. When clearance occurs between the parts, the response amplitude shall decrease significantly as the clearance widens. However, the collision between the parts will increase the high-frequency response of the structure, which may also intensify the wear of the parts. The conclusions can provide references for structural design concepts and selection methods.
