The efficacy of fluoxetine hydrochloride combined with repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation in the treatment of adolescents with depressive suicidal ideation
Objective To study the effect of fluoxetine hydrochloride combined with repeated transcranial magnetic stimulation(rTMS)on and its effect on neuroendocrine levels.Methods 70 patients were randomly divided into study group and control group,that is 35 cases in each group.Both groups were given fluoxetine hydrochloride,while the study group was supplemented with rTMS.The differences of Hamilton Depression Scale score(HAMD),Hamilton Anxiety Scale score(HAMA),Baker Suicide Ideation Scale score(BSS),Pittsburgh Sleep Index Scale score(PSQI),neuroendocrine level and incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups before and after treatment.Results Serum FT4 and FT3 levels in two groups were statisti-cally higher than pretherapy(P<0.05).Serum TSH levels in two groups were statistically lower than pretherapy.Comparison between the two groups,none of the three hormone indicators were statistically significant(P>0.05)before treatment,while none of the two groups except for TSH were statistically significant(P>0.05)after treatment.HAMD,HAMA and PSQI scores of the two groups were statistically lower than pretherapy,(P<0.05);Comparison between the two groups,the differences was not statistically significant before treatment(P>0.05),and there were statistically significant differences after treatment(P<0.05).Comparison between the two groups,there were statistically significant differences in BSS scores in pretherapy and post-treatment(P<0.05),but there were no sta-tistically significant differences before treatment(P>0.05),and there were statistically significant differences after treatment(P<0.05).There were 7 and 9 adverse events in the study group and the control group,respectively,mainly manifested as headache,diarrhea,nausea,constipation and insomnia,and there was no statistical significance in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion Fluoxetine hydrochloride combined with repeated transcranial magnetic stimulation(tTMS)can regu-late neurotransmitter levels,reduce depression and suicidal ideation,and improve sleep quality with high safety.
