Analysis of herbicide control effect in alfalfa field in Yumen area
[Objective]The objective of this study is to investigate the control effect of herbicides on weeds and their safety in alfalfa seedlings by conducting field efficacy experiments.[Method]The control effects of two conventionally used pesticides and five newly introduced pesticides on various weeds in alfalfa fields and their safety against alfalfa were compared at different concentrations, and suitable herbicides were screened.[Result](1)1200 mL/hm225%capryloyl bromobenzonitrile EC or 1500 mL/hm230%2,4-drop sodium butyrate salt solution could be sprayed on newly sown alfalfa at the seedling stage to prevent and remove summer cypress.(2)3000 mL/hm210.8%high-efficiency flupyromethoxalin EC or 225 mL/hm224%clethomide EC could be sprayed for the control of oats and ice grass.(3)1500 mL/hm230%2,4-drop sodium butyrate salt solution could be sprayed for the control of endive.(4)300 mL/hm224%clethodim EC could be sprayed for the prevention of broad-leaved solitary cabbage.[Conclusion]During this study, the weeds in the newly sown alfalfa field in Yumen were mainly summer cypress.Combined with field observations,it was recommended to spray 1200 mL/hm225%capryloyl bromobenzonitrile EC on summer cypress at the seedling stage to control and remove it.
