Toxicity level and control effects of nine insecticides against Cnaphalocrocis medinalis
[Objective]This study aimed to clarify the current situation and development trend of the drug resistance of Cnaphalocrocis medinalis in Nanping,Fujian Province, and to screen out effective pesticides for controlling rice leaf rollers.[Method]In this experiment, the toxicity of nine insecticides, such as matrine, ethyl spinosad, emamectin, abamectin, lufenuron, methoxyfenozide, chlorantraniliprole, indoxacarb and chlorfenapyr,to the field population of Cnaphalocrocis medinalis in Nanping,Fujian Province, was determined for two consecutive years, and field control experiments were set up to verify the field control effects.[Result]The results of toxicity tests in 2021 were as follows:abamectin>ethyl spinosad>chlorfenapyr>emamectin>lufenuron>methoxyfenozide>indoxacarb>chlorantraniliprole>matrine. The results of toxicity tests in 2022 were as follows:abamectin>ethyl spinosad>emamectin>matrine>lufenuron>methoxyfenozide>chlorantraniliprole>chlorfenapyr>indoxacarb. The comparative test results of field pesticides showed that the insecticidal effect of 6%ethyl spinosad SC 27.00 g/hm2 was the best in 2021,reaching 88.66%,and the insecticidal effects of 6%ethyl spinosad SC 20.25 g/hm2 and 1.8%avermectin EC 24.30 g/hm2 were over 80.00%.In 2022,the insecticidal effect of 15%indoxacarb EC 50.63 g/hm2 was the best, reaching 91.84%,and the insecticidal effects of 6%ethyl spinosad SC 27.00 g/hm2 and 1.8%avermectin EC 24.30 g/hm2 were over 90.00%.[Conclusion]The control effects of 6%ethyl spinosad SC and 1.8%avermectin EC were good and stable in two years'control.
