An analysis of registration and application status of regulators and herbicides on grapes
[Objective]This study was conducted to understand the status quo of the registration and application of plant growth regulators and herbicides on grapes, and provide a basis for the safe production of grapes.[Method]Based on the data of plant growth regulators and herbicides registered on the China Pesticide Information Network,as well as the relevant information in the newly revised GB 2763-2021 National Food Safety Standard for Maximum Residue Limits of Pesticides in Food and NY/T 393-2020 Guidelines for the Use of Pesticides in Green Food, and also combined with the actual production of grapes, this paper reviewed and analyzed the registration and application of plant growth regulators and herbicides on grapes in China.[Result]26 active ingredients and 146 products of plant growth regulators on grapes are registered, with traditional dosage forms accounting for 97.26%and low-alcohol products accounting for 76.03%.The toxicity of the registered plant growth regulators is not related to the content of their active ingredients, and their effects are relatively mixed;3 active ingredients are found in herbicides, with 7 single agent products.3 plant growth regulators and 26 herbicides registered in the"Limit Standards"have set their application limits on grapes. Therefore, the plant growth regulators and herbicide varieties on grapes registered in the"Limit Standards"are seriously disconnected from that in"Guidelines".[Conclusion]It is recommended to formulate the limits of herbicides and plant growth regulators allowed for the production of A-grade green food in the"Guidelines"as soon as possible. All relevant departments should strengthen guidance and instruction so as to improve the safety awareness of fruit farmers, enabling them to safely select and use plant growth regulators and herbicides within the framework of the Regulations, and thus improve the quality and safety of grape production.
