[Objective]Two specimens of the genus Russula collected from Guanshan National Nature Reserve in Jiangxi Province were identified.[Method]Based on classical morphological classification, the ITS,LSU and RPB2 gene fragments were amplified, and a phylogenetic tree was constructed by using both maximum likelihood and Bayesian methods.Subsequently, the two specimens were identified through a polyphasic approach.[Result]Two specimens were identified as R.tsokae and R.eccentrica, for which detailed macroscopic descriptions, microscopic characterizations, and field ecological information were provided in this study.[Conclusion]Upon reviewing previously reported Russula species,it was confirmed that the two species were reported for the first time in China, thus providing a valuable addition to the list of macrofungi in Jiangxi Province.
