Research on the occurrence characteristics, damage loss, and chemical control of weeds in Paddy Fields in Jiangxi Province
[Objective]This study investigates the occurrence types, damage losses, and chemical control techniques of weeds in Jiangxi paddy fields, aiming to provide theoretical and practical technologies for the precise control of paddy field weeds in Jiangxi.[Method]Field surveys, regression analysis, and chemical control experiments were used to systematically analyze the types of weeds, their occurrence characteristics, and their impact on rice yield,as well as to evaluate the control effects and economic thresholds of different herbicides.[Result]The weed species in Jiangxi paddy fields are diverse, mainly including Echinochloa crusgalli,Leptochloa chinensis, and Monochoria vaginalis. The weed communities and seedling emergence characteristics differ between transplanted and water-seeded paddy fields.Weeds significantly impact rice yield, with increased weed density leading to yield loss. The economic thresholds vary depending on the weed species.Through chemical control experiments, suitable herbicides and application techniques for controlling weeds in Jiangxi paddy fields were identified, showing good control efficacy and significant yield increase.[Conclusion]The control of weeds in Jiangxi paddy fields requires the selection of appropriate herbicides and control techniques based on the type of paddy field and weed species.Proper weed density management is essential to minimize rice yield loss and provide scientific support for the precise control of weeds in paddy fields.
