Research of Pneumatically Operated Piston Shock Calibration Device for Acceleration Sensors
A pneumatically operated piston shock calibration device for acceleration sensors including the modules of mechanical shock, shock signal generation and measurement control is designed based on the comparative calibration method. On the basis of analysis and calculation of key parameters and establishment of important mathematical models, the comparison of shock curve results of different waveform generators is carried out,and the wool felt with diameter of 20 mm and thickness of 5 mm is selected as the optimal waveform generator. The repeatability of shock peak amplitude and pulse duration are no more than 3%,which reaches the same level of similar foreign products.Meanwhile, the calibration uncertainty meets the ISO 16063-22 requirement of less than 5%(k=2).
