Automatic Prediction of Wear Life of Rolling Bearings for Built-in Control Rods in Reactors
An automatic prediction method for the wear life of rolling bearings of reactor built-in control rods is proposed.The contact force of the internal raceway of the rolling bearings is calculated by studying the contact relationship between the rolling elements.According to the wear form of bearing and the contact force of internal raceway,the radial free gap increment is calculated,which is used as an index for evaluation of the wear degree of rolling bearings to calculate the wear rate.By combining with the initial state of the bearing,the bearing wear degradation function is established,and the failure threshold of the degradation function is used to calculate the minimum health index of rolling bearings,thus the life estimate of rolling bearings under specific wear forms is obtained,and the automatic prediction of bearing wear life is realized.Experiments show that the proposed method can effectively predict the wear life of bearings with high accuracy.
