This study takes a famous music teacher from a rural secondary school as a case to explore the facilitating role of educational research in the teacher's professional learning and development in a micro-learning environment.Based on the analysis of interview,publication and autobiography of the teacher,the study summarizes the mechanism of growth motivation of rural teachers and the characteristics of music teachers'professional development,and further reflects on the educational research requirements for teacher promotion and development within the system.
