A Study on Discourse Teaching Practice Based on Theme Meaning Exploration—Taking the Shanghai Edition of Oxford English Textbook for Primary Schools as an Example
Since the promulgation of English curriculum standards(2022 edition),front-line teachers have been actively engaged in discourse teaching based on thematic meaning inquiry.Taking the text teaching in Oxford's English textbook for Shanghai Edition in primary school as an example,this paper expounds the teaching practice that starts from perfecting the text content based on the learning situation,designs abundant learning activities,and expands text learning in the assignments.Through the above practice teachers can help students understand,learn and use the language from the perspective of thematic meaning,and to enhance students'core literacy in English.
