As an important part of the structure of teachers, gender structure has an important impact on the growth of students and teachers. In order to better understand the specific situation of the current gender structure of primary school full-time teachers, this study takes 33 primary schools in some cities of Henan Province as samples, and then studies with interviews of 20 primary school teachers. The results show that in the past 20 years, the phenomenon of the number of full-time teachers in primary schools is more than men and less, and it is on the rise; And the proportion of teachers and women teachers will be different in schools with different economic development and different prestige; The phenomenon of high female proportion of young teachers and male proportion of senior teachers is also very significant. The reasons for these phenomena are related to the imbalance of the proportion of students in normal schools, low salary and welfare treatment of teachers, the traditional gender culture concept and the change of employment policy. Therefore, the research believes that the proportion of male and female teachers in the primary school full-time teachers should be adjusted reasonably, and the improvement should be carried out by increasing the cultivation of sexual literacy of normal students, improving the salary and treatment of teachers'profession and breaking the traditional gender culture.
