By reviewing the researches on national identity education of cross-cultural groups at home and abroad in the past 20 years,this paper finds that although the research methods from the perspective of pedagogy have different focuses,they are all narrated based on historical and contemporary cultural conflicts,and can be based on multi-disciplinary theories and guided by policies to target the characteristics of cross-cultural groups and regions.Carry out educational initiatives rooted in curriculum,practical activities,teacher training and family community.Based on China's national conditions and the beneficial experience of foreign countries,the future research on national identity education for cross-cultural groups in China should focus on the following aspects:strengthening empirical research,paying attention to the formulation of national identity education policies targeting cross-cultural groups,attaching importance to the integration of national identity education system into cross-cultural group school education,and promoting the construction of cross-cultural group national identity education environment coordinated by family,school and community.
