The Hakka Dialect in Xinjiang Town(Fumin Village)of Suichuan County Jiangxi Province
The Hakka dialect in Xinjiang Town(Fumin Village)of Suichuan County Jiangxi Province is surrounded by the local Gan dialect.On the basis of rich fieldwork,this paper firstly records its consonants,vowels and tones,then analyzes the phonetic characteristics,and compares it with the Hakka dialect in Meixian County and the"old Hakka dialect"in southern Jiangxi.It is found that there are many similarities between the Fumin village Hakka dialect and the Meixian Hakka dialect,which clearly shows the conservatism of the"New Hakka dialect"in phonetics.Secondly,by comparing with the Hakka dialect in Meixian County and the local Gan dialect,it comes to the conclusion that the Hakka dialect in Fumin Village has been influenced by Gan dialect in both vocabulary and grammar.
