Preparation of Cluster with Core-shell Structure as Catalysis for Synthesis of Tryptanthrin
In this study,Cu36 H20(S2 P(OC3 H7)2)12(Cu36)was synthesized based on an organic phosphine mediated method. The metal framework of Cu36 is a core-shell structure according to the result of single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The core structure is a Cu12 hollow icosahedron and the shell structure is a Cu24 rhombicuboctahedron. The metal framework of Cu36 might be evolved from Cu30 H18(S2 P(OC3 H7)2)12(Cu30)when two Cu3 triangles was added to the shell structure Cu30,which indicated the structural correlation existed between different clusters. In addition,Cu36 cluster displayed good catalytic effect for the synthesis of tryptanthrin when dicarbonate and dimethyl sulfoxide were used as base and solvent respectively.
