Constructing and Innovating College Duanbing Courses from the Perspective of Physical Literacy
This article uses qualitative research methods such as literature review and expert interviews to analyze the historical origins of Chinese short weapons and the development of their inclusion in college curricula.Guided by the concept of physical literacy and aiming to cultivate the physical literacy of contemporary university students,this article conducts an in-depth analysis of the current situation,challenges,and possibilities for improvement of short weapon courses based on practical cases from our university's Chinese short weapon curriculum.The article argues that the development of Chinese short weapons as a"national art"is closely linked to the spirit of martial arts.The establishment of short weapon courses in colleges and universities represents a historical evolution and responsibility shift from a focus on war mentality to the cultivation of physical literacy in the new era.In the process of constructing college short weapon courses,this article further clarifies the course objectives,innovatively selects course content and teaching methods that are more suitable for contemporary university students,and formulates corresponding evaluation mechanisms.Additionally,the article emphasizes the importance of extracurricular system development for college short weapon courses while acknowledging the challenges faced by such courses and proposing corresponding strategies to overcome them.
