Due to its unique geographical and transportation conditions,Northern Guangdong has had a large population flow in history,and multiple cultures have merged here,forming a multicultural factor in ancient villages.This article discusses how the diverse cultures of Hakka people have influenced the formation of ancient villages in northern Guangdong from three aspects:the migration of Hakka people in northern Guangdong,the integration of Hakka and local ethnic groups such as She and Yao,and the impact of transportation in northern Guangdong on villages.
