Research on Perimeter Security Monitoring System Based on Distributed Fiber Optic Disturbance Sensing with Dual Sagnac Structure
Aiming at the perimeter security needs such as all-weather,omni-directional,and efficient centralized control that exist in the current daily life,a distributed fiber optic perturbation sensing system based on the dual Sagnac structure is designed in this study. This system utilizes the dual Sagnac structure to establish a fiber optic sensing network, based on a single broadband light source and standard single-mode fiber with 3×3 fiber coupler phase demodulation technology, and achieves accurate positioning by analyzing the ratio of the phase signal to the perturbation position in the time domain, thus achieving the system design goals of stability, sensitivity, low cost and anti-interference.The experimental results show that this system can sensitively perceive the external disturbance within the test distance of 10km and realize the accurate disturbance positioning with the positioning error less than 5m,which provides a strong guarantee for the effective detection and protection of intrusion behavior.
