Optimization of Solid State Fermentation Conditions for Corn Stalks by Neurospora Intermedia
To investigate the degradation ability of crude fiber in stalk by Neurospora intermedia JY-05211,the selection and optimization of medium constitutes as well as culture conditions was carried out with corn stalks as main material and JY-05211 as fermentaiton strain using one-factor-at-a-time method combined with orthogonal experiment. As a result, the optimal levels for corn stalks, peptone, calcium chloride, material liquid ratio, culture temperature and culture time were determined as 98.45%,1.5%,0.05%,1∶2.1,28 ℃ and 7 d,respectively.Confimatory experiments performed under this conditions yielded a maximam of crude fiber degradation rate 36.58%.This study provides a thought and method for the high value utilization of corn stalks.
