A Brief Analysis of Flower Border Design Based on Immersive Experience——Taking the Design of the"Yuelu Garden Mirror"Flower Border as an Example
With the development of technology and the improvement of people's aesthetic level,more innovative elements have gradually been integrated into the field of landscape design.As a form of landscape art that can fully utilize landscape design,flower borders are no longer limited to traditional visual aesthetic pursuits,but are developing towards a more experiential direction.The article analyzes the differences between flower borders and several forms of flower application,as well as the characteristics of immersive flower border design.Taking the"Yuelu Garden Mirror"flower border design from the Xiamen Flower Border Competition as an example,it explores how to introduce the concept of immersive experience in flower border design,and proposes three implementation strategies:creative creation of immersion,simulation of natural communities,and emphasis on ecological functions,which aims at providing new ideas and methods for landscape designers.
