Teaching Design and Practice of Introduction to Engineering from the Perspective of Integration of Industry and Education
In response to the current demand for the cultivation of applied talents in engineering majors in higher education,relying on the positioning of China University of Petroleum(East China)for the integration of industry and education in the field of communication engineering and the characteristics of the communication engineering industry,combined with the teaching objectives of the Introduction to Engineering,a teaching model of"demand leading,student centered,achievement oriented,dual leading,and online and offline integration"has been constructed.We have carried out teaching reforms in the setting of teaching objectives for the integration of industry and education,the exploration of integration points between industry and education,and the establishment of guarantee mechanisms.We have implemented a"pre-class,in-class,after-class,and assessment"integrated education model throughout the entire process.Practice has shown that this model has achieved good results in improving students'engineering literacy,improving teachers'engineering practical teaching ability,enhancing engineers'theoretical level,transforming scientific and technological achievements,and serving the society.It has strong demonstration and promotion value.
