An Empirical Analysis of English Learning Status and Countermeasures for Higher Vocational College Students:Based on a Survey of Freshmen in a Higher Vocational College
Learning situation analysis is a key foundation for talent cultivation and a basic prerequisite for carrying out teaching activities.It also provides important information and direction for teaching research.This study is based on an empirical investigation of the English learning situation of freshmen in a higher vocational college,analyzing the status of English learning among higher vocational college students.The writers delve into the current situation of English learning among higher vocational college students from the five English skills,academic core literacy,learning cognitive ability,and learning experience and attitude.Based on the analysis of the first three research data,the writers found difficulties in English learning among vocational college students and put forward targeted countermeasures in the aspects of the English curriculum system,teaching faculty construction,teaching mode,"dual classroom"access,and quality guarantee mechanism.The aim is to provide a reference for improving the quality of English teaching and promoting teaching reform in higher vocational education.
