Analysis on English Listening Obstacles and Strategies for Students in Private Vocational Colleges
In English learning,the four basic skills that are repeatedly emphasized are listening,speaking,reading,and writing.Among the four basic skills,listening is one of the most important among the four language skills.However,it is still common that vocational college students encounter difficulties in listening and the learning outcomes are poor during the process of learning English.This article focuses on students from private vocational colleges,using a combination of questionnaire surveys and on-site interviews to study and analyze the problems in English listening among vocational college students.Based on this learning situation,targeted thinking and countermeasures are proposed,which can help students improve their English listening skills and also help teachers in similar universities study similar problems.
