Screening analysis of antibiotic resistance of Escherichia coli isolated from imported and exported food at Beijing port
To understand the drug resistance of Escherichia coli isolated from imported and exported food at Beijing port.A total of 111 strains of Escherichia coli was subjected to 33 antibiotic susceptibility tests using a micro broth dilution method.Among the 111 strains of Escherichia coli,88 strains showed resistance, with a resistance rate of 79.3%.Among them,38 strains were multidrug-resistant.The highest resistance rate of Escherichia coli to cephalosporin was found at the Beijing port, with a resistance rate of 62.2%.The resistance rates to tetracycline, naphthoic acid, and compound sulfamethoxazole ranged from 25%to 35%,and 9 strains of ESBLs Escherichia coli were detected.Compared with strains isolated from other regions in China, the resistance rate of Escherichia coli isolated from exported food at Beijing port is generally lower, and the resistance spectrum is basically consistent. The detection rate of multidrug-resistant Escherichia coli isolated from export-ed food(49.3%)is much higher than that of Escherichia coli from imported food sources(9.5%).The detection rate of ES-BLs in 111 strains of Escherichia coli is 8.2%,and ESBLs producing Escherichia coli not only has a high resistance rate but also has a serious situation of multiple drug resistance. We should continue to advocate for animal husbandry to reduce the use of antibiotics, use efficient antibacterial antibiotics reasonably, and avoid abuse.
