Determination of volatile organic compounds in automotive aromatherapy products at high temperature by TD-GC/MS
A 1 m3environmental chamber was used to study the release of harmful substances from 25 batches of automotive aromatherapy products at 40℃.Air released from samples in the environmental chamber was collected by adsorption tube, and the benzene series and total volatile organic compounds were analyzed by TD-GC/MS.The results showed that the re-lease of benzene, toluene, xylene and ethylbenzene conforms to GB/T 27630-2011 standard;the total volatile organic com-pounds(TVOC)released in 13 batch samples did not meet the GB 50325-2020 standard.Searched by mass spectrometry NIST database,VOCs in the automotive aromatherapy products were mainly esters, alkanes, alcohols, pinenes, which are harmful to human body.It is suggested that car aromatherapy products should be formulated as soon as possible to ensure the quality of air in the car while providing fragrance.
