Quality and safety standards for import and export lithium-ion batteries and optimization measures for customs supervision
Lithium-ion battery export is one of the"new three kinds"driving China's international trade.At present,interna-tional standards for the transportation,import and export trade of lithium-ion batteries are varied.The instability of lithi-um-ion batteries,as well as the lack of widespread awareness among enterprises of transporting the batteries as dangerous goods,have led to frequent accidents.In addition,some enterprises have problems in producing qualified products and cus-toms declaration during international trade.Therefore,customs authorities should implement effective identification and super-vision of lithium-ion batteries and their packaging,to formulate industry standards,strictly prevent safety vulnerability and en-sure the safety of lithium-ion battery in international trade.
