With the continuous development of the food inspection and testing industry,the third-party food testing institutions have gradually developed and grown.However,there are still many problems during the process of its development,such as people,equipment,fund,industry scale,management system and so on.This paper expounds these problems and puts forward corresponding countermeasures including talent training,increase investment,deeper communication and cooperation,establish-ing brand positioning,and strengthing supervision and regulation.Taken together,in order to ensure food safety,the third-par-ty food testing institutions should strengthen themselves constantly and improve the overall testing capability.
