Research on Contemporary University Social Responsibility for Promoting Local and Global Development
In the new era of globalization,higher education has more complex and extensive connections with the contemporary world economy,society,and global environment.Based on serving the needs of local and national social development,contemporary universities are moving towards actively fulfilling the greater social responsibility of promoting global common interests.This is not only a proactive re-sponse to the needs of building a responsible global society,but also a realistic reflection of universities implementing global participation strategies.Incorporating the social responsibility of promoting local and global development into the higher education development strategy,taking the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals as the direction of efforts,and reconstructing the society-oriented inter-nationalization strategy of higher education,are important ways to enhance the social responsibility leadership of contemporary universities.
